Veterinary Services In Hudson, WI
Animal Diagnosing and Treatments:
We have many tests available to help us keep your pet healthy and understand what is ailing your pet if they are sick. The most important of which are obtaining a medical history from you and performing a thorough physical exam.
The hospital has the following diagnostic equipment:
- A full-service, in-house laboratory that can perform a wide variety of blood, urine, fecal and other cytologic tests.
- High resolution, computerized x-rays.
- Digital dental x-rays.
- Ultrasound imaging
- Blood pressure, echocardiogram (ECG) and oxygen saturation measurements.
We also work with external laboratories and consultants for any additional tests that may be needed.
Treatment:
Many conditions can simply be treated or managed at home by the owner. We support many animals living with chronic conditions with treatments that are administered at home.
When your pet needs more care and more monitoring than you can provide at home, we offer specific, symptomatic, and supportive care in our hospital. Hospitalization at our clinic commonly involves intravenous fluids, injectable medications, and vital monitoring.
We are also available for a limited number of urgent cases and emergencies.
Surgical Procedures:
We aim for your satisfaction, with our main concern with surgical cases are your pet’s safety and comfort, which we hold to a high standard. Our doctors are knowledgeable in a vast array of surgeries. We will examine your pet and recommend preanesthetic in house blood work before putting them under anesthesia. We commonly will use intravenous catheter and fluids for support during anesthesia. During their procedure, your pet will be observed closely by trained personnel as well as modern devices to monitor your pet’s vitals and ensure safety while they are under anesthesia. This equipment provides continuous monitoring of your pet’s heart rate and rhythm, respiratory rate, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure, and body temperature.
