Meet Lisa! She has been here as long as she has been an adult. How long is that you may ask, good question, and good luck getting a true answer.

Lisa’s love of animals started at a young age. She grew up on a hobby farm in Minnesota where she loved spending time with and showing dairy cattle, Sheep, and goats. She also loves horses. Many times, she brought livestock into the house and was told they were not house animals so she vowed she would have house animals when she grew up.

Fast forward to now and Lisa lives with her husband Eric, 3 cats, and 2 dogs. Her cats, Yoyo, Rue, and Cammy are all orange and all came from CVVH.

The true loves of her life are her dogs Ginger and Rory. Ginger is a Catahoula Leopard Dog and a tripod (She had a bad fracture necessitating amputation of her hind leg as a young dog). Never letting Ginger’s disability rule their lives, they have enjoyed agility, rally, and scent Work. Scent Work is their specialty and they compete at the top level with AKC.

Rory is a childhood dream come true for Lisa. She has loved Dalmatians for as long as she can remember and was finally able to have one for her own. Rory is still learning and finding out what all he loves to do. They currently train in rally, agility, obedience, and scent Work. They have already began competing in scent work and are well on their way to earning titles there.
