Surgery at Croix Valley Veterinary Hospital
Our main concern with surgical cases are your pet’s safety and comfort, and your satisfaction.
Our doctors are competent in a wide array of surgeries. We will examine your pet prior to anesthesia. We also recommend preanesthetic blood work. We offer the option of an intravenous catheter and intravenous fluids as support during anesthesia. During the procedure your pet will be observed closely by personnel as well as monitoring devices. We monitor all animals with a pulse oximeter which measures heart-rate and oxygen levels in the blood. In addition, some animals will also be monitored with a high definition oscillometer for continuous blood pressure measurements.
